Matt Foreman
Matt Foreman has been the pastor of Faith Reformed Baptist Church since 2002. A native of Atlanta, he was brought to Christ in college at Furman University through a Reformed Baptist ministry, and later completed studies at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.
He served as the organizing and founding Chairman of the Reformed Baptist Network, currently chairs the RBNet Missions Committee, and is a lecturer in Practical Theology at Reformed Baptist Seminary. He is the co-author of the book, “The Angel of the Lord: A Biblical, Historical, and Theological Study“, and has also written and produced an album of worship music, “Ekklesia Hymns, Vol.1“. Tom Wisneski
Tom Wisneski became an elder at FRBC in 2021 and a staff pastor in 2022. He graduated from Widener University in 1985 with a BA in history and English Literature, from The University of Virginia in 1986 with an MA, and has completed all the coursework and examinations for a PhD in English Literature. From 1990 to 2022, Tom worked at Williamson College of the Trades, as a communications instructor for five years, then Vice President of Education, and then Vice President of Research and Assessment. Tom completed all the coursework for the Foundations of Biblical Counseling Certificate at the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF). For several years, Tom taught theology courses for The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI)-Chester campus. Tom has been married to Joyce since 1984 and they have four children and six grandchildren.

Al Griffith
Al Griffith became an elder at FRBC in 2018. He graduated from Grove City College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in History and Political Science. He then attended and graduated from The Dickinson School of Law in 1997. Al has been an attorney since that time, working locally in Philadelphia and Delaware County. He is currently a Lead Counsel with a major insurance company, managing and assisting other attorneys. Over the years at FRBC he has taught Bible studies, Sunday School classes and he continues to lead a regular small group home meeting. He has been married to his wonderful wife Michelle since 1996 and they have 5 children: Joel, Susanna, Samuel, David and Miriam. Al enjoys spending time with his family and reading history and theology.

Glenn Force
Glenn Force was born and raised in Delaware County, PA, joined Faith in 1987, and has been an elder since 1996. He holds a BS in Computer Science (West Chester University) and now works as a manager of software development in the financial industry. At Faith, Glenn regularly teaches, leads small group, and focuses on Men’s & Family ministries. Glenn is “always amazed” by his wonderful wife Dawn and together they have five children: Kayla, Daniel, Sarah, Stephanie, and Rachel. Glenn enjoys spending time with his family and running.

Rick Horne
Rick has served as an Elder at Faith from the mid 70s to the mid 90s and again, since 2016. Rick has been a teacher and counselor at The Christian Academy (TCA), The Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF), and Delaware County Christian School (DCCS). In association with CCEF and The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI), he provides pastoral counseling helps for urban church leaders and support to indigenous mission leaders in Africa, the Dominican Republic, and South America through Oakseed Ministries, International. Rick has published materials for parents, teens, and church leaders. Rick completed his Doctor of Ministry work at Westminster Theological Seminary. He serves on the CCEF Board of Directors. Rick and Betty, married in 1969, have six married children and 20 grandchildren. He and Betty enjoy being home-stay parents for international students and being at their family mountain cabin, on the side of Blue Mountain in Schuylkill County.
OUR DEACONS

Gary Thomas
Gary Thomas lives in Springfield PA and was born and raised in Delaware County. After graduating from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1972 he worked as a bank teller until 1974 at which time he was hired by AMTRAK as a passenger car repairman. He left AMTRAK in 1986 and starting out as a carpenter began a career in the construction industry. He is a member of The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and retired from his position as Senior Project Manager at SJ Thomas Co. Inc. in March of 2021. Gary began attending FRBC in 2005 and became a Deacon in 2019. He married his wife Debbie in 1974 and has four children and six grandchildren. He enjoys walking, reading and conversing with family and friends.

Jan Thawley
Jan was raised on a farm in Southern Delaware. He became a Christian during a revival weekend at the country Methodist church where his family attended. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Political Science and has worked for the Social Security Administration since 1977. His then fiancee and now wife, Christie, was a member at Faith so he began attending in 1978. He and Christie have 2 adult sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, and 2 grandchildren. As a deacon, Jan serves as the official church treasurer and unofficial nitpicker. His interests are varied, ranging from Bob Dylan to dark chocolate to gardening and composting.

John Doorly
John was raised in a Christian home in Medford, NJ. He graduated from West Chester University in 1991 with a BA in Spanish, later received an MA in Spanish. John taught high school Spanish for 7 years at Malvern Preparatory School and has been a technical sales rep in the electrical industry for over 15 years. John joined Faith over 10 years ago and serves as a deacon. He has been involved in men’s ministry and other diaconal support. John is very blessed by his wonderful wife, Tracy and their children Sarah, Dan, Leah, and Nathan. John enjoys spending time with his family and assorted activities such as tennis, traveling and fishing.

Peter Beardsley

Tim Slothower
Tim was raised in a believing family in Delaware County, PA. He graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in International Affairs, and later completed an Executive Masters of Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. After working for the government, he transitioned to finance and works as a financial advisor for a local firm. He and his wife Kelly started attending Faith in 2016, and have two daughters. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, hiking and home improvement projects.
