Matthew’s Gospel traces the life, teaching, suffering, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. It sets out to prove that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, but that he was sent by the Father to be the Savior for the whole world. He not only fulfills the Old Testament, he brings a greater hope and greater redemption to all who will become his disciples.
