We believe that children are also created to worship God. Our children’s worship is designed to train our children to participate in corporate worship by applying biblical principles to the unique needs of children ages 2-5.
First, the children participate in the adult worship service with their families. Then, after the last hymn, they meet at the back of the sanctuary and head downstairs for their worship time. The children learn hymns and choruses, share a Bible lesson, and enjoy crafts and games related to the lesson. The adult worship service is also reviewed in an effort to encourage attentive listening and active participation.
Faith welcomes girls in grades K-8 to participate in a weekly girls’ program – held from late September through the end of April. Each week the girls spend time studying the Bible together along with fun craft times, games, parties, and service projects. They also enjoy special events throughout the year such as the Christmas Tea, Mother-Daughter Banquet, and our annual fundraisers for various causes.
